I am commanded by the Army Council to forward to you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, the accompanying extracts from the report of the Inspector of Royal Garrison Artillery on Hong Kong.
The Council consider that this report reflects great credit on the Hong Kong Volunteer Artillery, and hope that that Corps may shortly be recruited up to its approved strength.
